n. a person who professes to be "a nerd" without having any actual classical nerd qualifications, e.g, fluency in Japanese, skill at math, music, ability to program a computer, encyclopedic knowledge of Star Trek or Star Wars, etc. See also "imposter nerd", "imposnerd", or "posnerd".

Alas, President Obama may have outed himself as a snerd with his recent "Vulcan Mind Trick" remark (circa March 30, 2013).
