Here's how I chart my progress in editing my manuscripts for my novels.
The red line is the number of pages from the previous draft of the manuscript which I have hand-edited, and the blue line is the number of hand-edited pages which I have typed back up again and which are nominally ready to show to others, put through the process again, or otherwise publish.
I keep these in my
Franklin Day Planner.
The second page I set up to go out to the next
National Novel Writing Month in November.
