Introduction
My idea is to invent a "game" that illustrates some principles of evolution by natural selection. Initially there would be no mutations, and no "junk genes" or such.
The way it works is an individual is a set of three numbers, zero to nine, rolled up on a ten-sided die (d10). The reproductive process is that two individuals average each of their numbers (1), one, two, three, to produce a new individual. The fitness function works of the total of the three numbers, for example, one is fit if the total is between 14 and 16.
Set-Up
Decide how many individuals to make for the first generation, about a half-dozen. Roll up each individual with three d10 rolls.

Second Generation
We make the fitness determinator to be that the total for an individual's three numbers be between fourteen and sixteen. I'm rounding down, i.e., throwing away half values, and this is arbitrary (1) for a reproductive algorithm.

So at this point there is only one genotype left, so it will just continue, and in principle grow and grow and grow, since every new individual in each new generation will be the same and will be equally viable.
Summary & Conclusions
In the example we give here, five random individuals converge to a homogenous genotype in seven generations.
One wonders what effect making average rounding a random thing, eg., a coin-flip. As in the example, if one parents contributes a 5 and another a 6, this information is lost, in a way, that is, both become one or the other. Some other way of varying the rounding might also be interesting.
There is no concept of "junk DNA" at this point. All of the numbers contribute to the individual's "value" and thus their fitness determination.

10 years ago, Volgograd resident Dmitry Malyshev (left) cooked and ate the heart of his Tajik friend. He filmed the entire process.
Not having served even half of his 25-year-sentence, he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and went to kill Ukrainians in Ukraine.
This is where he become friends with the killer-maniac Alexander Maslennikov (right), who murdered and dismemberered 2 girls.
Maslennikov was sentenced to 23 years in prison. That wasn’t his first conviction — he was previously convicted of rape, robbery and mugging, and was released in 2017. A few months after his release, Maslennikov visited a karaoke club in Volzhsky, where he met 2 girls. He invited them to his apartment, where he killed them.
Maslennikov was also allowed out and sent to Ukraine, to serve in the Russian army on the front lines.
In March 2024, Maslennikov and Malyshev began publishing joint photos from the front lines in Ukraine.
Malyshev said he didn’t sign up to fight to just get out of jail. He says that he’s fighting for “values” — because he is against sex education lessons in schools. And against gays.
And for that, the cannibal and the maniac-dismemberer are killing Ukrainians and destroying their cities.

Officially, “Hell No!”
Even in a field training environment, females have to get shipped back-to the barracks once every I think three or four days, as it’s much riskier for a female to go days — or weeks; a month; more? — without performing such hygiene than it is for males.

Unofficially?
It may occasionally happen in the Army or Marine Corps., though it’s certainly not supposed-to, and I’ve never seen it, in any way, “forced”.
There were a couple times out with just my deployment group in the field, post-deployment together, while none of us were interested in stickin’ around in the GA heat mid-summer without a shower, so we used new, never-used gas cans warmed in the sun to take “field showers” every couple days.
The girls would just pick somewhere a lil’ more remote, then watch out for each other during. There was an occasional “oops”, especially when look-outs failed, but all parties handled those … like fuckin’ adults?… so it wasn’t ever a big deal.
Also, while I was deployed and on a couple remote FOBs, there was a small handful of girls that ‘decided they preferred using the guys’ showers, as we kept’ em much cleaner than the girls did apparently, and were sneaking-in really late at night.
Of course, the few of us that noticed didn’t mind if the girls kept using ‘em, provided they didn’t care if they weren’t alone. Even though at least some staring was inevitable, the guys were still respectful about it, and again, it wasn’t ever an issue.
That would have been a major issue for many, & it’s sensitive people that now drive DOD policy.
