Reason number #348 for ending homophobia is that this sort of stuff becomes comedy rather than mere cruelty
Heterosexuality is ridiculous and risible as well, and would become more so post-homophobia, eg, “why are there no breeder pride parades? Because we’re not proud.”
And a bunch of people appropriating homosexual oppression definitely doesn’t help. attach victim status to something and some subclass of people will come out of the woodwork and try to horn in on a slice of it
