It looks like the doubling times are still not so great -- it looks like we still have a three-week doubling time for both deaths and new cases.
This is a smoothed plot computed with a five day moving average of 0.7 / rate to get the doubling time. You can see how this curve starts to inflect around March 22, which is around the time when the Idaho Governor Little issue Statewide lockdown orders, and many other Governors were doing likewise. Around that time the impact of the illness was doubling every few days.
Now we're just starting to reach three weeks, which is around the threshold for the human brain to forget how bad it was...and still is.
